“I’ll give life to all those snakes killed by you,”
a voice from the sky told

It is but natural that humans are afraid of snakes. But it will be a rare phenomenon if snakes are afraid of a particular man! This strange incident happened some few hundred years ago.

The young boy must have been around eighteen years. One day, he caught a cobra for playing. The cobra bit him at many places but nothing happened to the boy! Everyone was surprised at this. Thereafter, snake-catching became his occupation and thanks to the boy, the villagers became totally fearless about the presence of snakes. One day, an old man told the boy that there lived a black cobra in the neighboring forest which had ‘navarathna’ inside its body and that if the boy caught that snake he could sell the gem for lakhs of rupees and become very rich. The boy, lured by this suggestion, entered the forest. He wandered there for many days but could not sight even a single snake. He was frustrated. At this point Sattaimuni siddha came to him. When the sage asked for the reason for his frustration, the boy narrated the entire story. The sage advised him that devotion to God was the most valuable and powerful thing than any other matter on the earth and that if he raised his ‘kundalini’ and gained control over it, he would become a siddha. Also, he advised him against killing snakes. Realizing his mistakes, the boy asked the sage how he could get redemption from his sin of having killed many snakes. The sage told him to get ‘moksha’ for those snakes killed by him. When the boy wondered how he could do it, the sage told him in a firm tone that he could really do it and then he disappeared. The boy started meditating at that spot itself from that very minute.

The parents and the relatives of the boy came to the forest searching for him. When they saw him meditating, they were all surprised. The boy came out of meditation after a period of four months. When he opened his eyes, he felt that he had become a siddha. He prayed to the Lord, “Let all the snakes killed by me get salvation. Let the snakes and the humans behave in a manner that snakes do not harm the humans. If anyone is bitten by a snake, let him pray to me, I’ll save his life.” At this, he heard a voice from the sky which said, “I am granting your requests. I’ll give life to all those snakes killed by you. Whoever is bitten by a snake, he’ll be saved if he prays to you.” The boy became Pampaatti siddha from that time.

Pampaatti siddha discovered medicines not only for snake-bite but also for many other diseases. It is believed even cancer patients will have relief if they pray to this siddha. He had saved many lives and had helped many in times of distress. There are evidences to prove that he lived in Maruthamalai. He is still among us. He is helping many, appearing in different forms. For problems including Rahu-Kethu dosha, delay in marriage, problems due to various diseases, financial and health problems etc. will all be solved if we pray earnestly to Pampaatti siddha. There’s no need to doubt this claim.
