When the sage breathed, his breath fell on the goondas like poisonous gas

The sage simply smiled. The next moment, both the sons fell on the ground with their hands paralyzed. Both the sons, who were hell-bent upon getting their share and were even prepared to kill their father for the sake of the property, were shocked at this. The goondas also swooned and fell down on the ground. When the rich man opened the door on hearing noises outside, he was shocked to see the sight. He noticed that when the sage breathed, his breath fell on the goondas like poisonous gas. When he asked the sage what happened, the sage said that he saved him from the attempt of his sons to murder him.

The rich man fell at the feet of the sage and said that he had bequeathed all his property and wealth to the Pathanjali ashram just then. He added that he had lost all his taste for money and that he would accompany the sage to wherever he went. He then requested the sage to forgive his sons and their men and awaken them from their unconscious state. When the sage blessed them, both the sons and their men woke up as if from sleep. They realized the greatness of the sage and became devotees of Lord Siva.

When the rich man asked for the identity of the sage, he said that he was Paranjothi rishi, an avtar of Adiseshan and that Lord Siva sent him there to save the rich man. Then he disappeared into the air. We don’t require any more evidence to believe that Siddhas are with us, willing to help us always!
