“My daughter is lucky to have got a good life. We should thank Kalyanamalai only for this. We had registered with Kalyanamalai for my daughter Sasikala. My daughter is a divorcee. She has got a nine-year old daughter also. I attended the Thirumana thiruvizha programs at both Vellore and Chennai but nothing happened. Two months back, P. K. Maheswaran contacted us from Thiruppur on seeing the portfolio of Sasikala in Kalyanamalai. He was a widower. He has an eleven-year old daughter. We belong to Agamudaiyar Mudaliar community while he belongs to Senguntha Mudaliar community. Maheswaran owns a knitwear factory in Thiruppur. His mother and sisters all came to our house and proposed the alliance. We all liked the family very much. As both the boy and the girl liked each other, the marriage was finalized and held at Arunachaleswara temple in Thiruvannamalai last month with all grandeur. With the grace of Arunachaleswara, a motherless daughter got a mother and a fatherless daughter got a father,” says Mahatma, the father of Sasikala in a tone choked with emotion.
